"A Woman's Work Is Never Done"

The exhibition, "A Woman's Work Is Never Done" was inspired from hearing of more and more women going through the personal fight against breast cancer. I wanted to have a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research and thought that a show by, for and about women was the perfect vehicle. A percentage of the sales from the show will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The fundraiser and show runs through May 31st.

The response from artists both local and nationwide was exciting. Twenty four fine art and fine craft artists submitted pieces........sculpture by Alabama artist Erin Cunningham and local artist Maya Puchkoff.............. pottery by Randi Kish, Amejo Amyot, and Jennifer Perez.....pastels by Carolyn Justice and Trudi Smith............monotypes by Jamie Worrall and Arleen Targan.......paintings by Michelle Winnie, Anne Diggory, Virginia McNeice, Georgeanne Gaffney,Sandra Dovberg, Takeyce Walter, Dina Fortune, Elise Ribbe and Catherine Ruggles......... fiber narrative collage by Judith Plotner......... photography by Nancy Bruno.......... jewelry by Louise McManus and Pat DeCamp, and keepsake boxes by Andrea Schleider.

Each work exhibited shows the strength, passion and compassion of women.
